Overview
Several of our extensions use product attributes in Magento. These attributes are created during installation, however they will need to be added to your attribute sets and in some cases you will be required to add values to them. Add Attribute to Attribute Sets
Login to your admin screen- Go to Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attribute Sets
- Open each attribute set
- Drag the new attribute e.g. 'cross_tier_id' or 'price_template_id' from 'Unassigned Attributes' on the right hand side to 'Groups' under 'Prices' heading.
- Click 'Save Attribute Set' button
- Repeat for each product attribute set you have
Add Values to an Attribute
You may be required to add values to an attribute. To do this:- Login to your admin screen
- Go to Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes
- Click the attribute to open it
- Open the tab 'Manage Label/Options' on the left
- Use the button 'Add Option' to add new values
- Enter a value in Admin and leave Default Store View blank (position can be left as default)
- Repeat for all values required
- Click Save Attribute
Note values in the attributes are case sensitive. the Default Store View should be left blank to prevent issues. |
